Great condo, pictures exactly how the condo is in real life. 2 amazing decks and can see filtered views of ocean. You can hear the ocean 24/7. House has great cold a/c. Comes with nice ice chest on wheels, 6 beach chairs, umbrella, 2 boogie boards and 2 sets of snorkel equipment. Turtles in the cove. The condo development/grounds very well maintained including plenty of loungers tables chairs outside bathrooms by pool and bbq area is wonderful. Several public nice beaches close by. Grocery store, vegan restaurant and regular restaurant and great coffee house all within walking distance in same shopping center. We will stay here again. We stayed 10 days. Love it

The unit was spacious, clean and nice size. Great views from both balconies. While we didn’t really cook the kitchen had a nice amount of items you would need. There is a safe in there which was a huge bonus. Jill is very easy to work with. The book telling you what you need to know is on the shelf on wall by light switches.

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The condo is roomy and well equipped. The groundskeepers helped us pick and enjoy the fresh fruit on the property which was really fun (bananas, limes, papayas, mangos). Property management was wonderful. We needed a few things, contacted them, and they were immediately helpful. Laundry in the unit, two patios both with ocean views, and many more things made this a really great stay. Also, loved the location. Very close to bays for great snorkeling, within walking distance of a market, restaurants, etc. We would for sure be back and recommend to others.

There aren’t enough words to describe the great location and how comfortable we are to stay every year. Thank you again for a great vacation experience.

We’ve stayed at Kahana sunset the past 4 years, this unit was by far our favorite. It was so clean and updated. Plenty of towels and both beds were so comfortable. We loved both of the lanais, ocean view from both. The storage shed was an added bonus. There was snorkeling gear, umbrellas, chairs you name it. We will definitely be staying at this unit every time here on out!

Nice updated unit. Kahana Shores is a classic 70’s resort that is well maintained. The unit is nice and the beds are comfortable. I have two suggestions for the owners; update your cookware. It’s an old and making a family meal with limited pans is a challenge. Declutter the space. All the extra decor is not needed. Saddest thing resort is the historic erosion of the beach. 30 years ago must have been epic based on the photos. RIP building F.

We don’t usually try new places to stay while on Maui but decided to on this trip. We were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem!!! Very clean, gorgeous views, gorgeous grounds, my kids loved the pool. We will absolutely be staying here many times in the years to come. The owner was an absolute sweetheart when we had a slight issue and resolved it for us immediately with no hesitation. Absolutely love this place!! We stayed there for a week and then bounced to other places around the island for another 2 weeks. We wished we would’ve stayed at Kahana Sunset the entire 3 weeks! We were so sad to leave. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

I'll start with the rental management team. They were excellent and very communicative. I would absolutely use them again in the future.
We have stayed at 4 condos in KS. This condo was by far the most well appointed condo of the group. Clean and literally had everything needed for a great stay! Plenty of chairs, coolers, and beach stuff in the storage room.
The building is C-3. We've been in E and A buildings as well. They all have their plus and minuses. Parking very convenient and close.
Property has always been well maintained and its a great low key spot for a couple or families. Pool and access to the ocean, grounds very lush and green with lawn chairs. Lots of BBQs, I've never run into a lineup. Only quirk is they auto close the gas to them after dark (I think around 9), so dont come back late from the beach and think you will get to cook some food on the grill. Pool also closes fairly early.
Winter months swells are substantial. This bay has suffered tremendous erosion over the years that have impacted the homes as well as building F at KS. Of the 14 days there, we probably had 3 maybe 4 with clear and calm enough water for snorkling in the bay. When its available, its absolutely amazing! Just be prepared to hop in the car if you are looking for a beach day and waves with less energy than what can pund this little complex in the winter.
Our stays in West Maui are in the double digits over the years, its our vacation speed. Laid back, not as touristy, and amazing places to visit just minutes away. Location close to many beach options or a quick stop at the market square for food,coffee, groceries.
The devastating fire's impact is indescribable on the great people of Maui.We chose to show local support by spending money into their economy, tip well, and volunteering.Post FEMA government housing plans have taken too long and there is pressure on rental owners.Mayor has even threatened moratorium.Some may judge you for being there.Recover

Lovely condo! Spacious, beautiful view, pool, bbqs and beach all lovely! Quiet, private, we enjoyed our stay and would gladly return!

Me and three of my besties stayed at Kahana Sunset C3 for several nights, and could NOT have had a better experience. The location is unbeatable - we'd sneak onto the private beach every morning before the sun came up, and watch turtles swim in the water. And every night we'd go back out to watch the unbeatable sunset over the water. Parking right up close was terrific. The beds and amenities were all top notch. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook again!

The place was amazing. We would definitely stay there again. So easy to get everywhere. The room and grounds was kept immaculate.

Wonderful retreat condo for some relaxing and reset. Condo was very nice and had everything we needed.

This place has so much to offer--sand and surf, a nice heated pool, lovely BBQ area, and the two matching lanais were great to relax and watch the waves and whales out at sea.
The only thing I would improve is the shower-- it was slippery, need some textured stickers.

Kahana Sunset C3 is our ideal Maui vacation spot. Kahana Sunset is in a great location between Kapalua and Kaanapali. The property is lush and beautifully maintained. We really enjoyed meeting up with other guests at the BBQs or over drinks watching the sunset. We love the condo. Hulahideaway does such a wonderful job of the property management. Easy booking and awesome communication. They even offer a concierge service to book activities. Any inquiry we made was met with an immediately response. The condo is bright and clean and well equipped. This was another fabulous holiday. Thank you so much!

Had a great experience at this property. Management was great and always in communication prior to arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was very quiet and perfect for a nice getaway as well as close enough to downtown.

My husband and I stayed here for a week with our two kids, and it was a fabulous home away from home for our family! The beds were so comfortable (and we are picky about beds), everything was updated, clean, and convenient. The beach chairs and umbrella were a lifesaver! Meals out on the lanai were wonderful, and we enjoyed the red crested cardinals that came to visit us at those times as well. The pool was fabulous, and we really enjoyed the ocean overlook on the edge of the property as well. We felt blessed to have had the opportunity to live there for a week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hula Hideaway. Condo was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our 5 day adventure in Maui. Perfect sunset viewing from the balcony and so nice to have a small beach on site. The property management staff was attentive and responsive. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!

If you’re looking for a clean, well equipped place to stay, away from the hassle and bustle - look no further. Hula Hideaway at Kahana Sunset is perfect. The unit itself is great. The complex is fantastic. Nice little beach, grills to cook on, pool, parking, everything you want and need.

Hula Hideaway was perfect! Clean and quiet atmosphere! The pool, beach and view were incredible! We will be back. This condo exceeded our expectations on so many levels!

We had no issues or concerns with this rental or the rental process. Communication was great. Facilities were as presented. There is a private pool for the community and small “private” beach area onsite. There is no need to hesitate in booking this is the price and accommodations are what you’re looking for. Location worked great for us.

This rental was updated, well designed and comfortable. A lovely place I would definitely rent again. Sitting on the upper and lower patios and hearing birds sing in the morning was magical. This place was amazingly quiet with glass doors closed when kids were playing in the pool below.

We came with our four children and we could not have had a better place to stay. This condo has everything you need in the right amount of space and some great outdoor areas that are safe for the kids. I would stay here without kids as well because even though it's family friendly the neighborhood is very quiet. Amazing location snorkeling with turtles right out your own private beach. The condo is beautifully decorated and fully stocked, you truly feel like you are in paradise.

The condo and grounds were amazing. Beautiful, quiet beach. Condo was very clean and deck had an ocean view. My only complaint is that the pool was packed with kids, so adults really couldn't swim at all. I would recommend highly if you have kids, but pool wasn't really adult friendly. Also, could have just been luck the week I was staying.

We enjoyed the view from the balcony and even saw whales one day. The staff was friendly and responded to a small maintenance issue quickly. Its a good West Maui location for getting to food and beaches quickly. Hope we can return some day.

We enjoyed our stay and the improvements that you have made to the unit. However the carpet up to the bedrooms is in need of a good cleaning or better still, replacing.
The property management people were extremely helpful. We left some items in the unit and they held them until we returned from Kauai.

Our stay here was amazing! The condo and grounds were clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was there, and so nice to have a washer/dryer as there is so much laundry being at the beach and pool everyday. Beds were comfortable and the AC was a blessing. Jill was great with helpful tips. Can’t wait to go back!!

Loved, loved, loved this place. The Kahana Sunset location is perfect, the grounds are lush, and the view beautiful. The condo itself was great too. Appreciated the two master suites, air conditioning throughout, and having a washer and dryer in the unit. We will definitely be back.

The condo was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The location was convenient and quiet. The pool was also quite nice.

We rented our Condo with the Hula Hideaway Team... Jill and her team have the best customer service on Maui!!

Out unit was 30 seconds to the ocean and pool, the ground are very well maintained, the pool is perfect, the complex is very quite and every visitor was very friendly and nice people in general!

The unit is nicely equipped, if you plan on cooking kitchen had all you need! Air Conditioning are wall mounted units in every room, they work well!

The unit as a whole is nice, we travel a ton and stay in very nice places, this unit is about proximity to the water and view.... travel Time Yo Lahaina is about 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic...

Only real downside was the bed.... it’s was not the most comfortable! But, the unit as a whole is nice and very well equipped! Washer and dryer, come in handy, the lanai’s are a great place to relax and enjoy your favorite beverage!

Nice condo located in a relatively small complex. Nice beach and pool at property. Gorgeous sunset view.

Be aware that both bathrooms are up stairs...not an issue unless you have knee issues. More stairs to pool and beach area. Upside is that parking is directly outside the condo door so bringing in groceries is a snap. AC and fans work like a dream. King bed is great, second bed not so much.
Very clean. Lanai is great with an awning that is powered using a remote...what will they think of next!

We arrived in Maui, stopped by Costco to load up and headed to the condo. It took about an hour to navigate our way, very simple directions.
We arrived at the condo and immediately knew the out of all the thousands of available rentals on Maui, we made the perfect choice.
The condo is exactly as pictured in the photos, everything new and me, the best thing was the apartment didn't look like every other "Hawaiian" styled apartment with the old bamboo decor. This is fresh, updated and beautiful.
The beds are super comfy, a must for a restful vacation. The bedrooms are large and have everything you need. The kitchens fully stocked, even basics like oil, and spices.
The downstairs balcony was used day and night with beautiful views and privacy. The upstair balcony off the master, was really never used, because the new and wonderful air-conditioning system condensor is located in the corner of the deck. So because it was warm out and we had the A/C on, it was too noisy and hot to use that deck.
The complex is quite possibly the best maintained we have ever stayed at. Th crew there keeps it spotless and beautiful.
We were there for two weeks, so we travel the island a lot, trying to find the best beaches...and we truly found the the private beach here at Kahana Sunset was our favorite on the island.
We loved being away from the crowds in this complex. Its a bit of a drive to go anywhere but so worth the privacy from tourist crowds.
We were sad to leave, and can't wait to return.
